Title: Violent Eviction of La Puya
Description: A local woman form the La uya resistance camp please with police to retreat. La Puya was set up in 2012 to show peaceful community opposition to a gold mine. In May 2014, police were sent in to clear the road so that mining equipment could enter the mine site. State police and compnay security forces used tear gas to disperse protestors and dismantle the camp.
