Short compilation of footage which shows the ruined and derelict Union Carbide factory in Bhopal, India. On 30th November 2014, Amnesty International Secretary General, Salil Shetty visited Bhopal. In 1984 an industrial catastrophe took place at a pesticide plant owned and operated by Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India on December 3, 1984. 25,000 people are thought to have since died from gas related diseases. People continue to suffer from health problems related to the incident and the subsequent pollution at the site.
