Salah, 9, in the al-Thawra hospital where he was recovering from injuries sustained from an anti-aircraft projectile on 6 May. His left leg was broken and he had shrapnel in his stomach, groin, and right foot.
In May 2015, an Amnesty International Crisis Response Researcher visited Yemen to investigate the impact on civilians of air strikes carried out by the Saudi led coalition. In March 2015, a coalition of countries led by Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes against the Houthis and allied military units loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh in Yemen.
