Description:	Contaminated land surrounds the Bomu Manifold, a Shell facility at Kegbara Dere (K.Dere), Rivers State, Nigeria, years after spills occurred. The company has failed to clean it up, despite repeated attempts to do so. Every year there are hundreds of spills in the Niger delta, but clean-ups are often slow and ineffective.
