Description:	This image is Alta Gracia, the director of the "Pink Shelter" in Mexicali, Mexico (a border town) where families and LGBTI migrants stay as they wait until they are allowed to present themselves for asylum in the US. The North America IS team carried out a mission to the US/Mexico border to observe and interview migrants who have been forced to wait in Mexico before their asylum claims in the US or heard or throughout the duration of their asylum claim as dictated by Trump's recent "Migrant Protection Protocol" policy.
